Completed. Not too bad at all.

Am away from home at the moment, for work, and so I had a change of scenery for this weeks milestone run.

Swapped the usual trail through the woods for this lovely stretch along the seafront in Edinburgh.

And it was fine, as you all said it would be. I took all of your advice and took it very steadily and I think the fact that i was on the seafront helped, there was a nice breeze and it was completely flat!

But I did it, and it really felt quite comfortable.

I even had a celebratory swim in the sea afterwards, which was invigorating at 6.30!

Thanks again for the advice and encouragement, I feel that’s another obstacle overcome, which I think, was as much mental as it was physical for me.

Am starting the day on a high. Week 6 here we come.

Haha. The temperature wasn’t too bad, warmer than lake Geneva a couple of weeks ago, but not as clear!

But believe me, I didn’t stay in long!

Well done , 20 minutes non stop really shows you what you can achieve with great effort. Hope you enjoyed your swim 😊

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran.

Is that the beach at Portobello?

Thanks for the tip Al, I will keep that in mind. Yes, it is the beach at Portobello, well spotted! It was a perfect place for the 20 min run.
