A Short Ode on Completing Week 9 Run 1

[SpeedMaQueen]

I ran into the village

Hair awry and cheeks on fire

The last two minutes gruelling

As my legs began to tire

But help ma boab I did it

What a feeling of elation!

And now there’s only two more runs

Between me and graduation 🙂

I even perfected the previously untried “remove shell top and tie around the waist” manoeuvre- without breaking my stride or pulling out my headphones- what a pro!

Having survived my first “hen-do” at the weekend, strip tease was the last thing in my mind!!😳 But I am delighted to have run further, longer and slightly faster while removing my top! I must be a proper runner now🙂
