A Short Ode on Completing Week Four

I left the house at 5.15

A frost was on the ground

I got off to a cracking start

My breeks the right way round!

I love the early stillness

The countryside is stunning

I called out to the cows I passed

“Hey look at me, I’m running!”

That’s week four done, my grin is wide

I’m glad to be alive

So onwards, upwards off to work -

And bring it on, week five! 👍

A need to write poetry - I don’t think I’ve read about that being one of the benefits of running. What will completing week 5 bring, a small novel....?

Well done, the progress is great isn’t it and it sets you up for the whole day. And well done putting on your trousers the right way round. At 5.15am, that’s impressive.

😃You should be our resident poet!

You do realise we will expect an ode to each week now until graduation....?

Nice peom about your runs, well done, onwards and upwards to week 5, interesting if you write a poem about the third run of week 5, take it slow and steady.
