Well, that's week two done! I've gone from driving to my local shop which is precisely 0.2 miles away/4mins walk to running for 9 mins (over the half hour)!

My 58 year old dad has joined me too! He is a bit behind, on week 2, run 1 but he will get there!

Today I took my dog too, thought he'd be a nightmare but he bloody loved it so we are ordering an elasticated lead today!

Sorry for waffling but I'm so excited and proud of myself! Reading your posts help too, we've got this guys πŸ’ͺπŸ˜…

Hello both myself and my partner are on the same journey just getting ready this morning for w3r1 interested to see how it goes. You feel exhilarated when you complete each stage. I have had a couple of not so good runs but thought ok next one will be different. It is a great app. We are also going to take the dog she will love it. It sounds like you are enjoying it all the best for your next runπŸƒπŸ‘

I'm a bit nervous for week 3 but I'm sure it'll be fine! I tend to struggle with the first one then the next two are better!

Good luck to you both!

Yes I wondered how I was going to manage, I just kept it slow and as I was wanting to stop just kept going to next tree and the next then Laura was saying it was time to walk! Now I’m wandering if I will manage starting week 4! Also I’m going to have bigger gaps between runs as the way my long days at work fall. Good luck with your next run

Well done it’s amazing isn’t it. I feel much like you previously always felt I couldn’t run (and really had no desire to!) . I will be finishing week 3 tomorrow hopefully!

No I had no desire either but a few of my work colleagues had done it and I wanted to get fitter so thought I'd give it a go!

Good luck finishing week 3!
