Well, after my dramatic end to week 8 I am now resting. Been to have my elbow checked but they say no fractures just trauma to the elbow! As you can see it’s rather swollen and very painful! I also really pulled my groin area so walking is painful too! So, week 9 will have to be delayed a little ☹️ Not happy as I am so close to the finish line! Guess there will be no Parkrun for me on Saturday! Healing vibes appreciated as I am frustrated!

Ouch! Hope that you heal swiftly. At least nothing was broken and you’ll be back soon. There’s no way I’d run with that swelling. It takes two weeks to lose any fitness so you should be fine to resume where you left off.

Very swollen indeed. Just rest up the wk9 will be waiting for you when you're better 😊😊

What a shame! That looks really painful! 😱 Have you tried putting frozen peas wrapped in a tea towel round it? I hope it heals quickly, as well as your groin strain. You don’t do things by half, do you? 😳
