Feeling sorry for myself😷

I haven't been for a run for 10 days now. Was staying with my dad for a week and couldn't go out and leave him and now I'm home but have got a miserable cold and painful sinuses! Had planned to do parkrun this morning but woke up feeling dreadful. So I guess it'll be another few days before I can get out. Just a bit frustrating knowing that it's going to be more difficult when I do get out. Also have signed up for a 10k in June so aware that I need to start training sometime!

  • I'm with you. Struggled with 5k run on Tuesday with achey legs then cold came out overnight. Thought my cold would have improved for parkrun today but sadly not. My back and legs don't ache anymore but my sinuses are stuffed. May have to give it another day or two.

  • I know that feeling I have Plantar Fasciitis, and it's very painful. Hard to imagine it getting better. I know it will though, this is not my first injury. I've had 2 weeks off, my race is in three weeks...I have the option to change to 5 KM on the day, I could probably walk that. I want my medal, it's purple!
