Done my 1st 5k in 28degress at sunny Beach today. Boy it was tough going. I've never sweated so much in my life. Even collided with a cyclist. 50/50 accident tho. Both OK. Even tho it was tough in places, boy I enjoyed it. Could get used to this. I'm not one for the heat but this is amazing.

Excellent run in the heat for you today, all that training you have been doing recently has paid off, great time in that 28C heat, once you come home and run in more normal 16C temperatures you maybe even get a sub 25 minute 5K, enjoy the rest of your holiday in Bulgaria.

Great running, hope you're ok after your accident and enjoy the sun there isn't much to be seen in the UK at the moment 😊

That's Awesome :) running in the heat is never fun - I am in australia and at the moment it is cold and good for running, but trying to keep the schedule going in summer where sometimes 30 is the minimum teperature can be difficult! I always find that the early morning is the best time to go, and the scenery is usually best around then too (if you can drag yourself out of bed that is!)

Wow! That’s some pace on a run that was tough going!!! Warm weather training should set you up well for after the holiday. Don’t forget to take on extra water... and the odd bit of liquid carb loading 🍻 as required! Have a great holiday and happy running.

Cheers dude. There is that feeling of you have done food when you get back and you are just soaking of sweat for the next 20mins. Just water for me mate. I'm t-total for the last 10 years. I've enough bad habits. 😁

No need to be sorry. Never ever really enjoyed it. I just drank because everyone else was. Tradegy in the family changed my whole outlook in life. Gave up smoking when the wee man came along. He is turning 10. So 11 years off the smokes. I would rather drive now and make sure everyone gets home safe a sound. Think that's a mental thing coming from the family tragedy. Sorry for life story.

It’s cool... I certainly get the driving bit, I do that a lot as I rarely drink out now. I’m just 10 years behind you on the smoking... but we both quit, that’s the main thing.
