Well done for completing Week 1, that's definitely the hardest part! Each new week is a step up but the work you have done in Week 1 means that you are ready for the next challenge. Good luck and let us know how it goes. ☺

I would say I found all of the weeks a bit hard because each was a step up from the previous. But if on week 4 I returned to week 1 it would have been much easier than the first time I did it because my fitness had improved.

Does that make sense ?

Well done! I found the best approach is to not think about it too much. We started this so that we could get to the point where we could run for 30 minutes without stopping, so it is going to get a bit more demanding each week but it is completely doable. Just trust that you can do this, take your pace down to slow and go for it.

Great job.

If we consider the whole cardio workout... brisk walking is cardio, so the whole lot from start of the warmup to the end of the cooldown, there’s actually very little difference, some runs are actually shorter than the one before.

Also, look at the difference in the two weeks... yes, there’s a step up... but it’s smaller than the step up into week one, assuming you did 0 running the week before. Week 0 to week 1 is by far the biggest step up you’ll ever make on your running adventures... well done.

You’ve done the toughest week... you’re fitter and stronger than you were a week ago... you’re ready for week 2. Keep the pace down, and (I won’t lie) some runs get tough (can’t predict which) and do take some mental toughness to get through. I still get those runs, I don’t know anybody who doesn’t.

Enjoy week 2... you can do it.

Well done on completing week 1! I second everything that has already been said. Keep at it, and enjoy the side effects of increased fitness, both physical and mental. 😊

I've found all the weeks hard work so far to be honest but there achievable . You'll find your own pace and once you do try keeping to it . You can do this , just stay positive and your love it !!!👌✌

For me the buzz I get from finishing a run outweighs every thing else. For me the hardest part of this program was taking the first step so yes mentality for me it has got easier. Just need to do a good head job on yourself. I will run I will run.....I will.....
