Was really sore after finishing the last run of week one, so left it 2 days and felt much better. So started week 2 today and a friend who runs came with me. Had the app on loud speaker. She was really impressed, and realised I could run and sort of hold a conversation 🤭.

Congratulations. I’ve found sometimes having 2 rest days =a much better run next time.

Keep going x

Thank you, felt I was missing my schedule, but am realising I don’t need to beat myself up, And take extra time if needed.

Well done.

You should run all of C25K at a pace at which you can hold a conversation.........slow down to make it possible, if needs be.

It’s a great feeling finishing the first week. Have surprised myself actually doing this. I’ve had a bit of a health glitch and decided I needed something to focus on. I’ve never run, but seems I do now, after a fashion.

Well done on getting going. It is important to listen to your body, if you need 2 days to recover take it. Pushing it when you’re not ready will reduce your enjoyment and increase the risk of injury.

Huge well done... I have at least two rest days? a week, when I care for small runner in training... my granddaughter... those days count as workout days:)

Huge well done you...and take the days you feel you need... conversational pace is just right:)

Well done and good luck with the rest of week 2 👌✌

I find it essential to have 2 days in between. Don't forget to stretch afterwards- really important if you don't want to ache the next day. There's no rush to get to the end, enjoy the journey.

Well done to you. Like others I benefit hugely from more than one rest day. Sometimes it can be more than 2 days and it pays off. Enjoy your next run.
