Finished Week 2

I've been struggling with week 2 so did an extra run to make sure I was ready for week 3. Yesterday I did the final run of week 2 and it went really well, a complete contrast to the first run of the week when a little bit of doubt set in about my ability to do this. I'm looking forward to week 3 now and challenging myself to do it even if like week 2 I need to work at it a little longer.

Good for you. It takes a while to realise that C25K does actually work. I've gone from really being concerned I couldn't jog for 60 seconds that first week to having run non-stop for 25mins by week 6. Given that I've never done a get/keep fit plan in my life and am overweight and heading rapidly for 40, I think it's remarkable and have to pinch myself that the running junkie I've become really is me!

Hi, you should read TJFlute warning it can change you in more ways than one. I am beginning to see this is doing more for us than fitness it is full on giving us confidence that we can do this. Well done enjoy your next challenge

Thanks for all the encouragement - I find all the encouragement and reading all the blogs really useful especially when you find out that others felt just like you but carried on and did it. I'm very slow at the moment but feel my fitness is already improving.
