I’ve purposely avoided reading too far on ahead
I did and I felt daunted, and it fair messed with my head
And so today, my trainers on and Laura in my ear
I set out for week five, Run three, the source of so much fear
It seems like quite a quantum leap
From 8 minutes to twenty
But I took it really nice and slow
And as for water - I drank plenty
My little legs are aching now
But though I am quite weary
I did it and surprised myself
It kind of makes me teary
So if anyone is reading this and you think you cannot do it
Believe you will, and trust the app, head down and power through it!
Ps. The run lasts 20 minutes- my smile will last all day! Happy running peeps!
