Not sure if the link will work but if it does anyone is welcome to connect to my Strava. The link should be to my log of this run with photos.

I did it.

I set aside some running gear.

I set my alarm for 5am.

I got up when the alarm went off.

I donned said gear.

I got out and completed the first run.

Apart from the last one I have done all these things with good intention a few times this year but somehow the gremlins in my head always got the better of me.

This time I kicked the gremlins butt and it felt AWESOME.

Well done 🤗! You’ve conquered the hardest part so just remember the feeling and follow the programme taking as many rest days as you need, stay hydrated and if you feel you need to repeat a day/wk then do so x

Be careful when sharing your runs on Strava as you may be giving away information you wouldn’t want to be in the wrong hands. There is s facility to hide the beginning and end of your run in settings which Is helpful when running from home. Sadly, not everyone who reads our posts is a genuine running buddy.

Thanks for the advice Dexy, do you have any more info on hiding start and finish? I had a look in settings and nothing looked familiar.

Yes if you go into profile and then the cog wheel in the top right corner (settings)

Privacy controls, add a privacy zone.

I’ve also set mine so no one can follow me because I don’t like people seeing my running routines but that’s up to you.

Happy running i
