W1R1 done!

It took a while before I was able to do the run due to work deadlines, but I managed to get a chance on Friday.

And i am pleased! It wasn't tricky and i felt accomplished having managed it with no deviation from the podcast.

Getting proper running gear helped with the confidence. And i had somewhere to put my phone! Thank you karrimor... for your bum pocket...

I played a round of squash today with my brother, so I'm going to have to really push myself to run this evening. If at all. I may delay it to a run on Monday and one on Tuesday.

Well done! Starting isn't easy. Think I would probably go tonight so as to get the rest day. Keep going, good luck.

Well done for getting started. I love that karrimor pocket too. Started off with arm band for my phone but prefer the pocket. I used to worry the arm band would slip or un Velcro at some point. ☺

There's something very secure about the bum pocket. Makes you feel like your house key won't go missing. I like that in a pocket

If you run Monday, try and make the next one on Wednesday so you don't miss out on a rest day. Congratulations on starting the best programme ever :)

P.S. Yes, do make sure you have a rest day between runs as it's important to allow your muscles to recover and strengthen to prevent injury. Two rest days between runs are fine if you need, as long as you don't run on consecutive days.
