I’m starting week 5 today, however I am still struggling to run for 5 minutes without stopping. Any advice?

Ok you are struggling to run 5 minutes without stopping maybe repeat wk4 again until you can fully complete it then move on to wk5 . You can do this😊

Thank you. I think it’s best to repeat week 4.

Take it slower. Being told that was an epiphany for me. There is no such thing as too slow and you can.always get a bit faster if you feel.comfortable.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice on pacing........slow down.

I would also recommend following the link to the post about mental approach.

You can do this.

Enjoy your journey

hi Phoeberunner13, dont panic that you are struggling a little, slow right down 🐢🐢, in the early days of me joining the programme my stamina was poor and I found runs hard. I took the advice of fellow runner on here about japanese slow jogging, you can google and watch video, I found it really helpful 😊
