From Week 7 onwards, this was my halfway target. Get to the Coop when Laura says halfway there. The first week I got closer and closer. Week 8 I got there and then started my next warmup walk further back. Week 9R2 I was along the sea front and round the corner before she got there. This was taken hurriedly last week on Run2. The tide was high. Today I went round there again on my consolidation run W9R6. The tide was out far enough for there to be three stalwarts surfing at 7.15 this morning. They say runners are mad! Setting myself little targets, I find, occupies my mind with things other than running.

That’s a good idea. I listen to the same playlist for a couple of weeks and see if I’m further along each day as each track plays. It’s a small thing but takes my mind off the running. I’ve just done my 6 consolidation runs this week too

Well done for sticking with it !
Haha, yes, I give myself things to do too. Today was my graduation run so I had a little nostalgic trip back in time, 1 minute - hello week 1, 20. - hello week 5, 25 mins - hello week 7, 28 mins-. hello week 8...from now on, no more looking back, only forward !!
