Well, that was a first

I've never before been targeted by Jehovah's Witnesses while running! What conclusion do I draw from this? Was I in need of being saved? Hmm; I'm inclined to the view that I wasn't running fast enough!! But the tramp who was asleep in the sunshine made the fatal mistake of opening one eye as they approached and he got the hard sell.

On the running front, I'm behind the pace. More than halfway through the month and less than halfway to the 100K/month target. Come on Ned, shake yer booty.

This made me chuckle, OldNed. BUT you leave me for dead - 100k per month! Wow! Maybe I need to start shaking my booty, too!

Thanks Soozz. I'm slightly surprised myself about the 100k a month but it isn't actually that hard IF you have the time. 5K three times a week plus a longer one at weekends, say 10K; do that for 4 weeks and you've done 100K. Bingo!! And if you translate that into English you realise you've run 62 miles - and that really does feel good! Give it a go.

Breaking it down like that sounds more doable although I'm still working up to 10k! I'm still impressed!

OldNed, you have a hilarious tag ... "shake" as in milk-shake; hippy-hippy-shake or shake off JWs and the like? and as for the tag "behind", well, I rest my case...

Great Running btw!

excellent...I'll look out for them while I'm running..presumably they were running too? Is this a new tactic?

No, they weren't running (that would have been fun!). I saw them in the distance and they looked like two respectable middle-aged women. Then as I drew level they jumped me, so to speak, and gave me "a leaflet to read when I got home". Being a polite sort of chap I could hardly refuse.

Careful what we say here or the specially trained fast response (trainer and running gear clad) Jehovah's Witnesses will be deployed to intercept any fast moving targets!
