Just did the final run of week 9 (Yay!) but not sure about my future running. My right knee started to become painful around week 7. Have had gait analysis and fitted with new shoes to help with the overpronation. I've kept to at least one rest day between runs and done the knee strengthening exercises but today was still painful.
Think I may rest for a week and stick to the Japanese slow jogging technique for a while (though any advice from you graduates and veterans welcome) I'm 59, not overweight and have been loving running - till the knee pain kicked in.

Congratulations on completing c25k you must be so pleased well done 😊😊👏👏 and yes have a few days rest if the pain doesn't get any better see your doctor
Thank you all - yes will rest it for a week or so. I was actually not bad until a supposedly gentle walk turned into 14 miles of uphill and down dale last weekend! Just hope it's runner's knee, not arthritis, but yes, maybe a visit to the doctor is needed
