Can't decide whether I feel more relieved π or more happy π ?! Probably both!! π
Nearly a week since I last ran W7R3 I have finally been able to get out again and have just run W8R1. Life has been so busy this week that I was getting to the stage where I just had to fit this run in or I was in danger of falling off the C25K wagon. So it was on with the trainers after work, headphones in and ABBA on, and I've done it!!
Gorgeous evening in the sunshine, under the trees and it felt brilliant. Half way round I thought, "I'm feeling really comfortable and I'm enjoying this!" It was a Eureka moment when I realised I wasn't just going through the motions but I was actually enjoying myself.
Added bonus when I got home - I was initially frustrated as the GPS signal hadn't picked up straight away on Strava, but then I checked the Fitbit and it showed 4.9km!! Lovely surprise! π
So glad that I'm back on track and feeling that great running buzz feeling again!
Great news youβre back on track, had a fabulous run and the love of running was right there. Runs like that really give you that run buzz. Happy running for sure. πββοΈπ
Thank you. π I set out feeling that I needed to quieten that little ear worm π that has become my running conscience, but ended up just loving the run. Feels great!
Aw, brilliant stuff, sounds like a fab run - probably all the nicer for having had other stuff getting in the way and finally that feeling of YIPPEEEEEEE!
Well done and so glad you enjoyed the run and it was a good one. Blinking warm though isnβt it, did mine at 5pm tonight and took an hour for the red face to disappear ππ³ I also downloaded some Abba for my Spotify playlist !
I blame Oldfloss for putting ABBA into my head, but I'm so glad she did as it's really helped me out on my last two runs. Definitely warmer running just now, but I quite liked it this evening - went out about 6.30 and it was quite nice.
