I bet you peeps all know this already, but hey, I'm sharing anyway, it might help someone else!๐
I was out for my usual 5k attempt, I say attempt because sometimes 5k is beyond my reach, and I head home and do a 4k instead....or 3k...but I was determined....
I was going along the path, feeling a bit 'out of it' I'm not even sure what I mean really...just sort, moving along letting my legs do the work on their own? Not feeling it at all...๐, I even began to feel a bit bored!!๐ฎ
Then I had a thought, instead of just sort of leaving my legs to it, I began to really think about what I was doing and I realised I could 'use' my legs much more effectively, just keep pushing that pavement backwards, and keep powering forwards!? And, when I began to focus my energy, ' keep on pushing that pavement backwards' I realised I was immediately much more 'in the run' and I discovered how good it felt and, oh boy I enjoyed that run!! So now, I make my legs do the work, just keep on pushing that pavement.......๐๐
I apologise for my ramblings, I just wanted to share my rediscovery of the joy of running!!๐๐โโ๏ธ๐
