Well, I've sort of done my third run of week 4. However, I've not really managed the second slot of 5min more than once, and have been defeated by some stupid hills. No way will I be managing week 5, so repeat it is! However, this is coming from somebody who couldn't do Week ONE or run for a whole minute, and had to repeat the very first week! So I'm going to look at the positive progress!
I'm posting this in case anyone else is in a similar place (whatever stage of the programme they're at). We're not in a rush to the end, and even a bad run with some extra walking is better than sitting on the sofa!
Now enjoying the nice walk back, which one day I might be able to run as well. I still did my total time today, just needed extra recovery.

I don't think I can actually go any slower without just walking! Knew today was going to be bad before I even put my trainers on as I'm physically and mentally tired, but I did it so as to preserve momentum and habit and I'm pleased I did. I "ran" (including the walking bits and my extra 2min walking!) about 3k then walked home, which is a lot better than sitting on my bum for an hour.
Please keep trying! I was the same on week 5. I managed to get the week finished after numerous tries. When I moved into week 5, I actually found it easier.

I think you have a great attitude Precentrix. You are doing brilliantly to have reached week 4, and no matter if it takes another go to crack that final run. Your approach to this is absolutely right. You are listening to what your body is telling you and recognising what it needs. You will get this week under your belt, just as you did with week 1. Then it's onwards and upwards to week 5. Happy running 😊
I felt like I struggled a bit with week 4, I had some good runs and then some not so good, so I repeated some runs before moving on to week 5.
Sounds like you’ve got that right attitude. Keep going at your own pace, be inspired by others but don’t compare your progress, move on when you feel ready. Repeating runs is definitely the right way to go rather than rushing. Good luck.
