Advice for week 4?

Hi, I completed week 3 on Tuesday, next run planned for tomorrow evening. However I haven't felt confident moving on to the next week so far, I did an extra week 1 run and an extra week 2 run before moving on. I'm just wondering if I should do an extra week 3 too as this has worked well for me or if I should just go for week 4 tomorrow? Any advice? Thanks

I feel the same about each new week but have decided to have faith in this programme and just crack on. It is all too easy to doubt oneself so in the case of C25K, so I have resolutely decided to listen to people here, trust the programme and just give it my best shot, despite my occasional lack of faith in myself. I think it was Nelson Mandela who once said that failure is not in the falling down, but the failure to pick oneself up again (or something like that). There is no failure on this running programme. Just getting up and out there makes you a success!

Go for it believe in the fact you can do this, I found at this point it's mind over matter. Keep on listening to Laura on the podcast she will get you through it and don't forget all the peeps on here, were all here to help and egg each other on. Good luck you know you can do it. :)

Well if that's what feels comfortable then so be it however if you have completed week 3 you are ready for week 4.

The programme is designed for us to move on week by week, give it a go you will I'm sure surprise yourself

I don't know anything about you but I have to tell you I'm 48, overweight, have two kids under 10, a full time job, short stubby legs (but a great smile) always hated proper exercise, thought I was going to die on day 1, and I have gone through the program straight up, no repeats and if I can do it you can do it. Barring any significant health issue of course, like I said I don't know your situation. Bash the repeating gremlins on the head and get on with it. The program works. The people who created it are geniuses, in my opinion. I'd like to build a little shrine to them somewhere.

Thank you all! Love the Mandela quote, and advice to bash the gremlins!

Think I will just go for it! I hope I do surprise myself! Mind over matter...

I spent all of weeks 2, 3 and 4 thinking there was no way I would be able to manage the next week, but each time I decided to give it a try and amazingly it worked. I like the sound of your positive attitude. Go for it!

I spent every week saying I aren't gonna do this. But I did. And you can too. Have faith.

You have completed week 3 so you are ready for week 4, your body is ready, just need to get your mind ready as you can do it and believe you can do it and you will do it 👍👍
