Just completed week 3 and I feel so proud. This time three weeks ago I couldn’t even run for 10 seconds and now I’m running for 3 whole minutes. How slow is too slow and will I get faster on my feet? I thought it was the blisters holding me back but they are almost healed now.
Thanks,
Chloe

Slow and steady seems to be the norm - I am also slow (sometimes so slow I think I will go back in time lol, hence my name). It seems to be more the action of running (even if your run is slower than your brisk walk) that we will develop and improve on.
I'm a real slow coach and although I would love to eventually cover 5k in 30 minutes, I think slow and steady is the best approach for developing stamina and avoiding injury. No such thing as too slow, so long as you're running or jogging along!
Time on your feet at this stage. Build consistency through regular running. Your body is changing and adapting to running. Once you get your stamina up then will be time to play with your speed, but for now just get out there regularly and follow the plan.
Doesn’t matter how slowly you run. At my first park run last Saturday I think my nose was running faster than me, but I didn’t change into walk mode at all. Felt really proud of myself even if I could probably have walked it quicker. Just keep at it and gradually you will build up your speed. 👍🏻😀
