week 6, run 3 done!

OMG, just 2 months ago, I would have never believed that today I’d be able to run for a full 25 minutes straight. It feels incredible, and I definitely see myself as a runner now. Even though I’m still jogging at a very slow pace, I know I can do it. Running longer distances and achieving that 5K goal is just a matter of time.

Honestly, the most challenging and scariest part for me was the leap from week 3 to week 4. But once I realized I could run for a solid 5 minutes without stopping, those longer intervals didn’t seem as daunting anymore. 😀

You ARE now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER by completing run 3 of week 6, congratulations to you Rustig, onwards and upwards to week 7 which are all 3 /25 minute runs, not long now until you graduate 😁 🏃🏾 👍

Well done! I struggled at first with the longer runs because I was running too fast so don't worry about jogging slowly. It sounds to me like you've found your perfect tempo avoid injury, finish the programme and continue to run once you graduate. 👍

Congratulations! It's amazing (witchcraft) how the programme works isn't it? I'm coming back from injury so starting again and my next run is W6 R2.

It is such a lovely thought that reaching a goal that seems impossible at the start is acheived. You have given me the strength to begin. Good luck for the future.

I am so happy to hear that! Do not hesitate, I've never been running or jogging in my whole life. And this program has shown me that i actually can do it and smoothly guided me through the process

Your doing great and well in track. In my opinion if your jogging is slow and is not a walk then that's perfectly acceptable to everyone here. It can be a bit disconcerting when faster runners or joggers go past you but you're on your journey and they're on theirs so just focus on yourself and you'll have no problem in reaching your goal.
