I loved it! I was so nervous I was like how can I run for three! But the community on here is so supportive thanks everyone! I took it very slow! First 3 mins I was tired I had to movtivate myself then the last three was I felt better and ran an extra 5 mins slowly to see how far I could go 8 mins was enough for me. But I am not dreading next week anymore either! I think the light rain helped cooled me down 😁
Week 3 day 1 - Done!: I loved it! I was so... - Couch to 5K
Week 3 day 1 - Done!

So glad that you are enjoying your running Fitness2025, congratulations on completing run 1 of week 3, you are doing very well on all those runs, you know what, you do not from now on need to feel nervous about any of the runs because you are doing so well, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 3, you may have looked at future weeks but if you haven't, don't, wait until your coach instructs you to run, once again, good luck ✅
you’re ahead of me so I am watching you with my beady eyes…and knackered legs! Well done you

Very well done to you.... on you go, slow and steady and do pop in a few more core strength and stamina exercises as you go... loads of ideas on the Strength and Flex forum,

Brilliant report!! You've got the rest of the week.
Look forward to hearing your progress...

Well done. It’s such an amazing feeling when you realise you can do it. Keep on going and don’t worry f you have to repeat runs or go back a bit. It’s all better than doing nothing

Something I am remembering is looking forward to what the next week will bring, I have forgotten what it brings after the few years of not doing it. Your runs can often start a bit harder than you finish, you body produces lactic acid that will make your muscles feel stiffer and heavier, it doesn't last too long. Don't push yourself to hard, complete the c25k and then when you are ready you can push it a bit further, personally if I have a bit left in the tank on the last run, I speed up a bit which makes me focus on finishing and not on how long is left. Don't fret about what is coming up, there is nothing there you can't do, even if it takes more than one attempt, I, a couple of times took an extra day's recovery which at the time seemed to help me. It's not a race it's about building that stamina.I am also loving this journey and like you, bring on the next run!
