W6R3 ✅ Thank you so much!

I went out for my W6R3 this evening a day earlier than planned. I was so inspired and spurred on by @Sarigne and @JaniceG68 who also did this very run today, I can’t thank you enough for sharing your run experiences, it really helped me. I too had a butt kicking playlist ready for the 25 mins and I did it! I did it! ... WE DID IT.

I am enjoying following everyone’s journey and this forum made a huge difference to me today ❤️

Very well done you... relax into the longer runs now... slow and steady. Let the legs begin to find their happy pace:)

Thank you Oldfloss, I will take your wise advice into my next run. My legs felt like bricks in the last 10 mins! Haha! First time I have had that heavy legs feeling 🧐

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6 JaoJao, like several other people over the last day or so, you are all now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, well done, onwards and upwards to week 7.

Thank you AlMorr, there were so many people on the same runs as me you’re right, it really inspired me today when a couple lovely ladies posted about this run experience and I said what the hell i’m going to go out tonight too! Just like that. It’s a wonderful community x

A runner... hmmmm! I’m going to stay humble for now :) oh my goodness yes! I’m on W7 now! Blimey, week 7 here I come!

Thank you Janice, when are you looking to do W7R1? I’ll probably try for Sun/Mon. I need a couple days rest now x

You’re welcome 😊. I’m aiming for Saturday. I am trying to stick to one rest day in between each run. So far so good. I don’t work Fridays so it will be a good rest day and hopefully I’ll be fresh on Saturday. Do what works for you. Everyone is different and we will all get there in the end 🏃🏻‍♀️😀.

It's great finding people on the same stage of the programme, loving it! Well done for completing R3, fab achievement - did you enjoy it? Or just happy you finished it? ;) When are you doing the next one? I think I'm going to go for Saturday again, because I'm hiking again on Sunday.

I enjoyed it because I had a good playlist I was distracting myself by doing arm gestures to songs and singing along! I must have looked like a mad woman to passers by 😂 but I didn’t care, it was a great distraction. I didn’t clock watch once, I just trusted I had enough juice in the tank for the full 25 mins.

My legs felt very heavy in the last 10 minutes, like bricks! I’ll have 2 days rest now and I’m going to look up stretching exercises pre-run because I want to be extra careful now it’s getting so serious.

Next run either Sun/Mon 🙈
