Well today was the 25min run ... have taken the mindset that W6R1&2 as stamina builders rather than speed, so was looking forward to today.

Had tech issues to start ... timer went off to soon, music failed, only 1 earbud working ... thought is this an omen?? ... 2 mins into the warm up all was sorted and ready.

Set off nice and steady and got into a groove ... running good, breathing well but hadn’t heard Michael for a while and thinking tech was messed up ... put me slightly off my pace as I started to check only to hear him say I’m half way ... had lost a little bit of my rhythm though ... until on came David Bowie with The Jean Genie ... and the opening segment has a great rhythm which I started to run to ... and I never slowed or dithered on the rest of the run ... so thank you David for a timely appearance!

Feeling proud ... thinking back to W1R1 ... to here ... wouldn’t have believed it ... and Michael now says I can call myself a runner! 🏃🏻‍♂️ 🏃🏻‍♂️

Fantastic! Well done, I had the same mindset and it worked for me, too. You are now officially a runner. Congratulations, it’s an amazing achievement! Love the choice of music as well! Saw him live many years ago on the Serious Moonlight tour.
