Can’t quite believe it -

Wow, I cannot believe I have actually completed the C25. I was told I was not a runner and here I am, running 30 min with ease (but not quite the 5k yet in that time). This programme really works despite the ups and downs I felt through it. So for all of you on it, just keep going, it really does work. One of the great benefits I have noticed is improvement in my heart rate. Absolutely brilliant. Thanks everyone for the support, sharing and the admin for running this forum. Big thank you.

Congrats! Great feeling isnt it? Amazing what the body will do if you let it :)

Dont worry about the 5km just yet. You can build on that over the coming weeks.

Thanks GingerBohemian. It is indeed a great feeling - didn’t think it would make me this happy to have achieved it. Happy running to you.

Well done! I'll be right behind you tomorrow with my own Week 9 final run - what's your plan after graduation?

Well done Debston and hope you enjoy the final programme run! I am going to keep running three times a week and hope eventually to get to 5k in 30min. One of those runs will be the park run which is close to where I live. Congrats in advance for tomorrow.

Congratulations runner! Consolidate for a bit and then you can think about pace or duration. But first - walk around with a giant grin all day!

Good advice DiscoRunner, thank you and will certainly do it. And I may keep that grin for a bit longer. Am surprised at how happy it has made me feel.

Congrats and well done Emsnina :) keep running keep smiling :)

Don't worry, most people aren't running 5k in 30 minutes by week 9, despite the name of the programme being C25k. It should be C230m or something like that :/

You've done fantastic, I hope you keep it up and keep us posted on how your future runs go and where they take you :)

Thanks Mike - yes I had read that not many get to 5K in 30min as part of the 9 week programme (otherwise who knows how long I would take to graduate! Good to see so many graduates on here. - thanks
