Just completed run 3 of week 6 - the 25 min! Came home with the biggest smile on my face. Was the best run this week for me, I felt positive, in control and really enjoyed it. The final few mins were tough as always but really manageable and I didn't feel like collapsing at the end of it.
To my surprise (and pace has never been a focus for me), I ran my fastest today covering 4.5k with the 5 min walk, 25 min run and 2 mins of the cooldown (stopped it at this point as had to pause my brisk walk to stop at the traffic lights). Very surprised considering I felt I was going the same pace as usual, or even slower, and felt comfortable still.
Now to enjoy the day - I have a lot of work to do for my law degree but also it is my mum's birthday so going out for a meal too. What a wonderful start to the day!
