'Fellow runners' made my day!

I did W4R2 at 5am this morning, I've been doing previous runs in the back streets so people don't see me🙈 but today I braved the main road and two 'proper' runners went out of their way to say hello😊, so if you were running in the Reading area this morning and said hello to a large, middle-aged woman, red faced and singing along to Beyonce, that was me! It made my day.

I still run at 5am for that reason (just haven’t found that extra bit of confidence). although my walk home just before 6am gets me noticed by a couple of people enjoying an early morning stroll along the sea front who always say good morning.

You certainly have a wonderful view for a run, I'm sure the strollers are impressed by the runner they see!

Thank you! And thank you for the ABBA reference, I've now added a few of their tunes to my paylist!

Thanks, I will do, I love the feeling after the run has finished! I'm now sitting smugly at my desk, after walking to work, 10k steps already done today! I hope you have a good day too.

I'm not far away in North Hampshire and also an early morning runner because I run before work, I would have said hello and cheered you on :)

Not in Reading but I love it when I pass other runners who say hello or smile or wave. It makes me feel like I’m part of something!
