My last run was Wednesday evening and after having to put back my next run day twice I finally got out this morning, little later than planned. It was considerably warmer and the cycle track busy with cyclist and dog walkers.
Those extra 2 minutes weren’t as tough as I thought they would have been however I did feel my pace was much slower than previous runs.
I am amazed at how I’ve managed to stick to this considering how much I disliked the first few weeks and I now only have 2 more runs till I complete the programme.. 🏃♀️

Update, just after 3pm, back after my short cycle run, nice easy run, not the pace I see that spin class going at when I pass it on a Thursday. I am so happy that you feel fabulous after your run today.
I am now in the garden having a muffin and a drink of coffee with the radio on? *😀.
They are play Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata at this very moment 15.39.
Spin classes look to me like a punishment exercise, I can see this class doing them when I pa's it on a Thursday, I have also seen a video on YouTube, even for a seasonal 🚴 cyclist like me that looks very hard, however, I wouldn't know how hard as I have never been on one of those stationary bikes.
Well done, AnnaHod! I did the same run this morning, did feel a bit nervous about stepping up to 30 minutes but really didn't notice the extra two minutes when I was doing them. Like you, I did not enjoy the first few weeks (I liked the feeling of accomplishment after though) and I have amazed myself by sticking with it. It's a brilliant feeling, isn't it? I'm even quite enjoying the actual running now. Except for any uphill bits. I still hate those and I probably always will! 😂 Good luck for the rest of Week 9.
