It was harder than i thought it would be. I think i thought that because i had ran for 20 minutes the other day, this would be easy but apparently not π Iβm still looking forward to the next run though. I can do anything now πͺπ»ππ»ββοΈ

That's really interesting - I joined here to see if this was 'normal' or just me - turns out not just me so encouraging. I can only run about once a week or so so it's taking me a long time - thought that might be an issue too.
Run 1 of week 6 catches out a lot of people after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3, I think it's a bit psychological, easy, no, the muscles and perhaps mind thinks that the walking intervals will be a 'rest' but it's not, be slow and steady on run 2 of week 6, many people have been caught out by that run as well. π
I quite enjoy the intervals tbh. I was happy that i went back to it π i think i was foolishly thinking that because Iβve ran for 20 minutes i could run marathons when in reality my legs are still getting used to it π Good luck! You will get through it π
Each run is different it has to be, to move us on and develop our skills... but all you need to remember is, that slow and steady, you will be ready for each and every one!
