Newrunner52. Go for it mate.....

I was the same...48 and no exercise for about 25 years. I'm on week 7 now and running 25 minutes at a time. Just follow your guide and use this forum for tips and motivation as you go.

There will be some 'lows' but I guarantee someone I here will have hit the same issue and be able to offer a solution.

Good luck and I'm sure you'll get there.

I must say both of you are setting an excellent example for us. Anyone who bothers to get out of bed after 35 deserves respect 😂🤣😂🤣 Enjoy the runs and have fun.

Well done! I’m just one run behind you. How did you find the jump from 90 seconds to 3 minutes of running?

I started c25k last May , when i was 51 ! I am still running . Keep at it , i am not doing 5k in 30.mins ; 36 mins is my best . But i love it , the headspace and lost 1 stone !

That's fantastic, I do love the freedom of running. It took the 1st week and alot of courage just to get out of the front door. Was running in garden for a week. Now I'm out there, and to be honest it's the best thing I have done for a long time . Tomorrow is w3 r2 and can honestly say looking forward to it.Thankyou for giving me inspiration.

Hi blue tortoise, just keep pacing yourself. W3 is a bit of a shock to the system, but you kinda feel so good at the end, I can do this, that's what I keep telling myself.
