The first run of week 8 and I totally forgot my coffee fix before I went out of the door.
I knew I could do 28 mins as I've run it before and that was the only thing that kept me going. From the very beginning I was in pain and my legs felt too heavy to lift. After a few minutes one of my calves started hurting for the first time in weeks and to add extra pain the paths had been churned up by a sledgers and family walkers on Sunday and had frozen yesterday and this morning into hard sharp peaks & troughs.
*shivers*
I'm just glad that in week 8 Laura doesn't tell you at 1 minute to go that she always goes faster for the last 60 seconds. If she had said that this morning I may actually have punched a poor unsuspecting tree.

Well done for keeping going! Those paths sound horrible. It is knowing you can do it that keeps you going though isn’t it? I hope you’re enjoying your well-earned coffee now
You have overtaken me, Cheshiregal! I was off sick this past week but just went out for my first run of Week 8 this morning. I was stunned to have got through it despite still having a bit of a sniffle. We're nearly there!
