Monday MFM Morning Run !

What an awful run this morning although still managed 5.8km and a PB......it felt like I was running wearing a straight jacket and had drank no water for a week ! (You get the picture) 😂

Had a feeling I hadn’t drank enough, and it was actually warm at 8.30am which wasn’t helping but did it and got out there.

Good luck to all you MFM runners this week ! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

That doesn’t sound like much fun! But well done, you got it done!! 👏👏👏 I’m off out in a bit with my daughter so hoping it’s not too warm

What’s your Miles for Mind mileage up to now?

I’ve done 7.8 miles so far....my target is 25 miles (wasn’t as brave as you and missangel) 😂 but going to see if I can get to 35 !

I’m going on a canal boat holiday for 10 days on Saturday so hopefully long stretches of path to run along, that is if I’m not fishing other half and dog out of the water 💦 🚣‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️🐶

Thank you - that’s dedication at 5.30 with not much sleep....did you remember the run ? I would have been still asleep 😴

I had to get up and didn't have any other opportunity to do it today and need 4 runs this week to stay on track have 39.6 miles to go. I'm feeling it now thou I'm shattered. Next run wed. How far u got on ur miles?

My target is 25 miles although trying to do 35 miles and have 7.8 done so far. My next run Wednesday too.

I can just about fit 3 runs in a week so impressed with your 4 !

35 is good and well done for ur 7.8. I'll be thinking of ur run on Wednesday mine in the eve this time. I need to in order to do the 50miles plus now also coinciding that with the HM training too for October. Although it will be back to 3 runs on June x

How on earth do you do that! 👏👏

I so used to be an early morning person, now It’s all can do to get myself to work for 8am 😂 i can run at night though, I think it takes me that long to fuel up!

Not sure tbh. I guess I feel alot lighter in the morning even if half asleep. Although trying to run at various times throughout day

Congratulations on the new 5k PB... wonder how you’d be with water and without the straitjacket?!

Thanks so much....quite shocked when it said that time. I’m hoping to get rid of the straight jacket as can feel quite restrictive 😂

Well done for getting out. I was planning on going out this morning. But it was peeing it down. So didn’t bother 🤷🏻‍♂️ I don’t mind a little bit of drizzle but don’t like running in soggy pants! 😂

Hopefully get out tomorrow.

Well done you, too commitment there! 😊

Thanks Dave, drizzle is fine but not a downpour 💦 or we may aswell just jump in a lake (that’s what I looked like last time I ran in torrential rain) 😂

in reply toRunRunRun13

😂 or go running in a wetsuit 😎 I’ve not been again for a bit. Knees painful again. £37 for half an hour for physio again I reckon! 😕

Oh no sorry to hear about your knee again and can’t afford to be ill as so expensive !

The arch under my foot (plantar thingy) has been painful/tender since Tuesday, no idea why and never had it before so haven’t run for 4 days but hopeful for Sunday as much better now after stretches....ice foot baths....tennis balls....walking with a limp (been a great week) 😂

in reply toRunRunRun13

🙄 I know how you feel! I’m 30 going on 80! 😂
