So after being diagnosed with tendonitis in March and not run since, tonight I picked up from where I left off. I decided to throw myself in the deep and and completed run 2 of week 5. I managed it 2× 8 min runs ankle feels ok and I feel so much happier. I was in such a dark place and I feel like tonight has let of a lot of steam and sweat 😊 fingers crossed I can carry on without any further injuries.

Well done. I’m so glad it went well for you. I’m a newbie. I’ve only done runs 1 and 2 from Wk 1. They were fairly easy to complete and felt comfortable but half way through the second run my back felt uncomfortable. That was yesterday. I’ve been in some discomfort since and taking ibuprofen. Tomorrow is meant to be run3 which I was really looking forward to but I may have to sit it out and let my back recover. I’ve been given the advice to build up my core muscles to protect my back when running. Don’t know how long that will take though or whether I should just risk doing the run sometime this week and seeing what happens!?
Glad all went well for you 🌟
