Definitely easier, for two reasons: walking for two minutes enabled me to catch my breath better, and I am now using an inhaler. I know that my fitness is improving, but I feel that week 2 is easier than week 1. I am dreading jogging for three minutes next week. 🙁

I'm glad you had a good run today. I really liked the Week 2 runs. Looking ahead to those three minute runs.... I think you'll find you surprise yourself!😃

I was dreading the three minutes too but I’m actually finding it ok. I always seem to find the first burst of running a struggle but by the time I get to that final 3 minutes I am doing much better. I think it’s because it takes me a minute to get my pace and breathing right.
Good luck with it!

That's amazing! Well done!
I am starting week 3 today and mid week two I was really apprehensive but after w2r3 I am actually quietly looking forward to it. I thibk I am looking forward to the challenge now.

When I first started I was dreading the following week and then I stopped. I have been doing a lot about your mindset lately and I thought hang on what am I doing? I am telling my head that I’m dreading it so it will dread it and find it harder. So instead I told myself that I am an excellent runner (not really) and that 3 minutes is easy! I kept repeating it while running! I used to chant ‘I’m an excellent runner, I can run ? Minutes easily, in fact I could run a marathon’. I know it sounds silly but it worked! The mind is a powerful thing sometimes! Tell yourself you can do it and are looking forward to it! Also make sure you are slow and steady! Slower the better!
Hi! Go, go, go... I am now in my week 3 and today I did my 2nd run, I thought I would struggle but I really enjoyed It passed so quick! Keep going!! 😊

I'm dreading that too, one more run to go before wk3, but the online gurus Old Floss and Iannoda have been right so far so I keep saying "I can, I will, run slow, just go!" to myself, seems to help. Good luck with the next run, I find the support from here makes all the difference.

Just stay nice and steady MuddledGardener. No pressure on yourself. Trust the C25K process. It’ll carry you forward, you’ll be pleasantly surprised 👍
