I survived. I found it much harder than W1. It is also the first time I used the podcast and am pleased that I did. I am glad that I am using the treadmill right now, cause I think I would have slowed down if it was under my own speed. Hoping the week gets a little easier...
W2R1... thought I might die...: I survived. I... - Couch to 5K
W2R1... thought I might die...
I really struggled with that one - it was the worst run so far. Strangely enough, the rest of week 2 felt quite easy and even week 3 wasn't that bad, so chances are it will improve for you!
Thanks... because I did find it pretty brutal...now there is hope I know I made it through it but it did seem a big jump from week 1..
Thanks for the feedback, now I am not so worried about R2..
Advice given to me was take each run as it comes and trust the programme. This is so true, you will soon be amazing yourself, it's not easy but soo rewarding! Keep going and good luck!
It sooooo gets easier, I was thoroughly ashamed of myself when I started the plan, I only started it because I thought the first few weeks would be a piece of cake and break me in slowly, OMG was I wrong! I wished I'd not told everyone what I was doing so I could quit! But I promise it does get easier, it's amazing how quickly your fitness level improves, keep it up and good luck
I have really struggled with week two, it has taken me three weeks to get to the the point where I can complete every run. I have now completed every run twice, so once more and then will move to the next stage - no longer week three for me but I will get there slowly but surely!
I completed W2R2 today and I found R2 much easier than R1. I was really tired when I did R1 so I think that played a huge part in it.
Thanks everyone for the feedback... much appreciated!!
Just follow the podcasts and you will succeed!
