Good luck and keep going. I’ve just finished this programme, took 12 weeks but who’s counting!!was on the same boat as you. Slow done and take your time. You’ll be great.

Just slow down and slow down again. You’ve got this 👌🏽

You can do this. Slow & steady is the mantra. You’ve done W1 - well done! You are doing something that will really benefit you in the long run (no pun intended!). I’m 57 & two stone overweight but I did manage to complete this. Been on the IC for almost four weeks & really missing the running. Never thought I would say that! Good luck with W2 - let us know how it goes🙂

Just got back, it really wasn't too bad until the second to last run. The pain kicked in at the bottom outside of both my legs and I got pins and needles in my right foot. I took it slow and got through it. Now I'm sat here eating my weetabix and feeling fantastic. Thanks for your support 😉

Brilliant - the feeling afterwards is so good. Well done for overcoming all the gremlins & getting out there🙂

That’s fantastic! Have faith in c25k: it works! Next week you’ll wonder how you’ll ever run for 3 minutes, but you will!

Welcom...

Check this post for Newbies out... it is full of great and tried and tested advice!

You are a Spring chicken compared with many on here... and you are going to be fine

The mantra is slow and steady and you may get sick of hearing it....but, it works...The folk who have started this and are still here, after years of running, followed that mantra and are still having a ball.

Take it as gently as you like.... post your runs for advice and support and encouragement.

Never be tempted to push yourself too hard... there are folk who move through and try to go too quickly. They soon disappear:)

Go you!
