I’m on W4 - anyone getting nervy knee twinges the day after running, or know what this could be? Thanks!

Hi Mollybloom1,My knees started to play up a bit at around that time too. For me, it was running in the wrong sort of shoes, and trying to run a bit too fast! I had a gait analysis done for free and bought new shoes, and really slowed up. No more dodgy knees so far, and am now running 40mins stress free - from not being able to run 90 seconds in February.

I'm sure you'll get more knowledgable replies than mine... but best of luck with finding a resolution! I hope all goes well.

That’s really helpful, thank you so much. I’ve got some new running shoes so hopefully that’ll help but I also like the idea of going and having a gait assessment so I’ll look into that, as I’m sure my running posture probably isn’t the best. Well done for graduating and doing 40 min runs!! Hopefully I’ll get to that stage! 🤞

You will! Just keep at it at your own pace and trust the programme. Enjoy!

The guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... has advice on minimising impact, stretching and knee strengthening exercises, which will all help, if followed.
