Graduated on Sunday!! πππ get me!! Now feeling a bit lost - what will I do without Laura coaching me, keeping me going? Was thinking about a bridge to 10k, not through any burning desire to run further, but to keep motivated... what app is best? Thereβs more than one and Iβd like to continue use in the same way.... thank you ππ
Bridge to 10k: Graduated on Sunday!! πππ get... - Couch to 5K
Bridge to 10k
Looking forward to hearing tips here. Miles away from 10k, but you can never stop hoping π
Congratulations. Hope you celebrated well. The best thing to do right now is have Laura back and do some consolidation work by running 30 minutes until it becomes comfortable/easy and then move on. Next could be 10k, faster 5k (which also involves going longer) or running for fitness and health. Goal setting is good... if going fitness and health route then book in some 5k events to have something to keep you going.
Thatβs good advice... thank you! π I will admit to still finding it all a challenge... a faster 5k would do me - I ran with a friend for the first time the other day; it was a bit like a whippet (my friend) running beside a basset hound...(me π) πππ
If you go that way youβll probably also run 10k π. Thatβs my focus and so I get to that 10 a little slower with more speed work. The whippet has either been doing this longer or is younger... never compare yourself to anybody but the previous you... no need to ever put yourself down... and everyone loves a basset.
Many congratulations on your graduation fellow runner.
