So I graduated on Saturday (πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ˜†πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜‡) and Downloaded the bridge to ten k app as , god help me , I have a 10K booked for January. Should I do a week or two consolidation or just carry on to the bridge to 10K ? I did my first one today but now not sure πŸ€”

General advice is usually to consolidate with 3x 30 minute runs for 2-3 weeks. Just get used to running before you start extending your runs. There's a great pinned post from IannodaTruffe about running after graduation, I will try to find the link.

As Debston says it is advisable to run for 30 minutes 3x a week for a few weeks. You've not left much time to get to 10k but if you're really wanting to do that 10k you could walk/run it. Good luck πŸ€—

Congratulations and very well done to you for getting through the C25K plan. If I was you I would just concentrate of 5K for now. Try parkrun, and get used to running 3 times per week for 30 minutes or 5K for at least 2-3 months. Forget about trying to run the 10K in January. Take part in it, but don’t put any pressure on yourself. Run parts and walk parts.

parkrun is amazing and is a great way to keep motivated. It’s free, fun and full of the nicest people.
