Bridge to 10K??? : So I graduated on Saturday... - Couch to 5K
Bridge to 10K???
General advice is usually to consolidate with 3x 30 minute runs for 2-3 weeks. Just get used to running before you start extending your runs. There's a great pinned post from IannodaTruffe about running after graduation, I will try to find the link.
Ah great thank you π

This is the post, lots of good advice, especially about not doing too much too soon! βΊ
As Debston says it is advisable to run for 30 minutes 3x a week for a few weeks. You've not left much time to get to 10k but if you're really wanting to do that 10k you could walk/run it. Good luck π€
Congratulations and very well done to you for getting through the C25K plan. If I was you I would just concentrate of 5K for now. Try parkrun, and get used to running 3 times per week for 30 minutes or 5K for at least 2-3 months. Forget about trying to run the 10K in January. Take part in it, but donβt put any pressure on yourself. Run parts and walk parts.
parkrun is amazing and is a great way to keep motivated. Itβs free, fun and full of the nicest people.
