Hi just completed my first three minute run that two weeks ago I would have never managed, but if a poor route choice with a slight incline on the first three minutes which was a couple killer but stuck it out and managed all the way through to the end, happy dude here ;)

Well done! I can only dream of being able to run 3 mins without stopping/keeling over/dying. That's a huge achievement and thanks for sharing. I get so much encouragement from posts like yours. Keep going!

Two weeks ago I would have felt the same but the three minutes was actually ok, hope you are working through it

It’s an awesome feeling isn’t it? I was dreading W3 because I didn’t think I could run for 3 minutes. But it’s such a buzz when you do it! Really looking forward to smashing R2 today

If you can’t run up it, turn round and run down it. Walk briskly back up, or go a different route. Sort the route and enjoy your runs. My W6 starts tomorrow. Past two weeks on a level out and back route. Seems ideal. Wide pavement and wide well trimmed verge too. Make that bit easier on yourself if you can! Then tread warily and breathe well. Enjoy your runs. More opportunities for “Happy Dude” still to come.
