W3R2 achievement...

Hi all,

As the title says I’ve managed a small (but massive for me) achievement on today’s run... I managed to do it all without using my inhaler once!! I have had brittle asthma since I was born and have been in ICU more times than I care to mention so I cannot describe how happy I am that I didn’t have to stop to use my puffer today - it shows that the C25k works!!

😊😊😊

Congrats JadeyG it’s those accumulated milestones that get you to your goals & give you confidence in your ability to hit the next one!!! So glad your breathing is responding well!!

Great run and absolutely brilliant that you didn’t need the inhaler. I have a ultramarathon running buddy who still carries inhalers but hasn’t used one in years... and my daughter rarely takes hers after starting running. Conversely it was so hot yesterday I was struggling with the breathing a little, and I’m not asthmatic! Hopefully this will keep improving your asthma as well as your overall health. Enjoy run 3.

Thanks everyone! I really couldn’t believe me - it’s given me the confidence to carry on! During the first run of week 1 I had to use my puffer after each run so to go from that to not needing it in such a short space of time feels great!

Huge well done to you.. many of our friends on here run with Asthma... and are as awesome as you! Making sure your meds are all in check is paramount obviously... but you are doing brilliantly!
