So just starting week 3 and am Totally surprised that I managed two 3min runs, considering that only 2weeks ago 60 sec running did me in 😀, so proud of myself

Its black magic. Following the app has you in disbelief all the way through. I have just completed w8 and often think about w1 and the struggles i felt at the time.

Thank you for the response, week 8 seems such an impossible task, but I say that every week and surprise myself each time

Well done Silvester! It really is an incredible journey.. enjoy it.

I disagree... that’s not a little achievement, it’s huge... you’re running 3 times longer intervals 2 weeks after struggling! You’re right to be proud of yourself... great job.

Its not a ‘little achievement’ its a big one !! Every week gets you closure to graduation but every week is an achievement in its self ! You are right to be proud 🏅🏃🏻‍♀️👟

I’m just about to start week 3 and am already dreading the thought of 3 minutes!! 😳😱

You do not dread it! You are a little concerned! Unsure! Out of your comfort zone.

Why? Because your head doesn’t believe you can do this. Your head is wrong! Week 2 you ran for nine minutes in total. In week three you are going to run for nine minutes. Same time. Why should your head worry about that?

Your body has gone from zero to a fairly good runner in two weeks. Your head is still on the couch begging you to stop and go back to the couch.

Why did you start this? Has that changed?

You could run 3 minutes max in Wk3. A record track lasts that long. You dance for 3 minutes? Go and move your feet for three minutes. How far you go is not important. That you do go at all, is.

Search - YouTube Japanese Slow Running Man- watch it. Could you do that for 3 minutes?

Chin up. Smell the flowers. Go and enjoy that run.

Well Done again. Hard but not as bad as you feared!

Your Fear! Is what you are up against.

Will keep going this week! Just this week.? What about weeks 4 to 9?

Keep being that proud person!

“I can do this & a little bit more too!

Can you say this in tune with the light tempo of your feet next time?

Well Done, you Runner you!

Head? Or what you said? Who’s winning?

Every day, in every way, you are getting better.

“I can do, I can!........”

Now go and enjoy being really great!

Go Pep!

Before you run tomorrow, have a look at this youtu.be/Q6Lqt8Xa5Fs

Spend a little time imagining your next run and enjoy the thought of doing this tomorrow. Then keep some of these thoughts in your head as you do run then.

Keep it up. I found that the gradual progression worked for me. Just follow the app on your phone with your favourite music. Make the most of the summer daylight and weather. Is there anyone else who can join in? Good luck 😁
