After a day's nightmare of trying to schedule a run in today and after going back and forth about whether even to run, I finally got out the door for my very first evening run! I personally prefer mornings but my crazy schedule of a day meant that I had to do this evening instead! I'm proud of myself for going ahead and doing it tonight because evenings usually are my winding down time.
The actual run felt really good because I actually paced myself this time and managed a few hills without gasping for breath! Looking forward to the 2nd run of w5 on Wednesday!

Hi Red! I'm an evening runner myself (LOL get me, calling myself a runner!) but occasionally I have to go out early mornings to get the training in, and I've found that mixing it up a bit really helps. I seem to try harder when I'm not in my comfort (time) zone so it's worth trying different times and routes - you may surprise yourself!
