Getting round to Wk9 R3...

This is so frustrating!

I have diligently done approx three runs a week for 11 weeks now, except for illness - and the end is in sight! I never thought i would be stadning on the precipice of graduation - running for 30 mins straight - and mostly looking forward to it!

But after Wk9 R2 on saturday, I cant see any way to get R3 in before Friday... so annoyed and worried that all my progress will be lost in a week (I know this is unlikely but I'm fretting!)

My schedule is such that I'm scared to do an early morning for fear of knackering myself, when there is so much going on in the non-running part of my life... (mostly fun, exciting things, but still feels like they are getting in the way - haha!)

ITs made more likely that all the activities are likely to involve latish nights drinking whih i know is a no-no for early morning running!

Well, lets see if i can drag myself out of bed at six tmw - at least it should be a bit light!

Oh try and get up early and do it. Just think of how that sense of achievement will make you feel! I got out at 6.30 the other week for fear of not fitting it in otherwise, and it was brilliant. Quiet, cool, and made me feel good and on a high all day. Sounds like you will be having fun anyway though!

Nothing ventured nothing gained. I'm sure you will sail through it. Good luck :)

Only one more run - it's not quite wafer thin but surely it's worth making the effort ? You'll be surprised how effective running is at curing a hangover too so don't let that put you off.

You're so close - it won't be long now!! But I know how you feel, I should be doing my graduation run on Saturday, but I'm working all weekend so it will have to wait til Monday - grrrr.

Nearly there! I'll look out for your graduation badge - good luck!

Well - the bad news is that I didnt make it out yesterday morning as planned... a really rubbish night's sleep - probably down to nerves and stress about the run and other things meant that I was staring at the clock at 2am, and 3am. So when the alarm went at six I knew I wasnt in any good state to head out. I will tell myself that this is a prime example of "listening to my body" - lol!

However, the good news is that this morning 6am came and off I went! Covering 3.8miles in 46mins (10 of which were warm up and cool down) So i ran for 36mins! I did an extra lap of the park and nodded at a nice lady doing sprinting intervals who was probably horrifed to be associated with my puffing self - but if only she knew -

*fanfare* Today I graduated C25K!!!! *fanfare*

:) :)

In other news my weightloss which was not exactly dramatic before, now seems to have stalled - despite good regular runs and a more controlled diet... need to try something to kick start it again.

Gnimia well done you. Lots of clapping from here.

Cheers - as it happens I can recommend Gwen Stefani's What you waiting for? as a running track, as it has a big round of applause at the start which is very positive and motivating!

Yes I like the idea of applauses. Gnimia here's a song list you can add that song to.
