Day one done!

Just started the c25k and feel amazing after the first one! It’s more then likely not going to last but I’m determined to do it. I plan on doing most of it on the treadmill but after reading some posts is it worth doing once a week on the pavement just so I don’t struggle at the end? X

Well done you for starting. I would say just do what you feel most comfortable with for now. As you progress through the programme you may want to take it outside but the main thing is you are doing it. Good luck on your journey x

This is why it is such a clever programme. It's not just about the physiology but not being able to go at things like a bull at a gate, not being able to do it everyday helps you get your enthusiasm properly sustainably harnessed.

Whether you 'should' trying running other than on a treadmill sometimes very much depends on why you are choosing a treadmill in the first place.

(I'd say it is worth doing it in the woods, moors, park as much as possible)

I did the whole program on the treadmill and continue to run three times a week indoors looking outdoors. It's my weekly exercise activity and I'm feeling much better than I would be if I continued to lounge on the couch. There's no right or wrong answer about where to run. Just choose the one that suits your own personal circumstances. Running is running no matter where you do it. Best of luck with the program!
