I decided to go out early this morning at 7:30 and finish my week 1 runs! Really pleased to have completed my first week.
Week 2 is to commence on Saturday - excited but also quite apprehensive. Saying that, I have trust in myself and in the program that I am ready for the first step up within the running times (fingers crossed!)
Hope you're all having a lovely week

Congratulations to you 'bexcrowe' on completing week 1 of C25K and welcome to the form, indeed, keep to the program, trust it and you will be fine, slow and steady is the slogan mantra here, good luck, remember that you can repeat any runs or weeks if you wish, Onwards and upwards to week 2.
Trust it - it works! As the durations increase you can always slow down. Learning that my brisk walk could be faster than my run was my first breakthrough. Then seeing this at W6 m.youtube.com/watch?v=9L2b2... This changed everything for me & I still run this way. If you stick at it you’ll be amazed by what you can achieve!
Thank you for linking me to that video! I have watched it and will continue to remind myself of it throughout the weeks, a great technique and has helped me realise the importance of being able to maintain a slower speed rather than going quicker and struggling more. Thank you so much for your kind reply!
Well done on completing week one - you are most definitely ready for week 2 now - keep it slow and steady and take all the apps advice on board plus the copious amounts of reading on C25K and in just 8 weeks time you be running thirty non stop x
That’s great! And either with one or two rest days in between. My schedule will be mixed up next week as I’m going to Poland for a competition but have scheduled my runs around it! X
