I’ve been running consistently now since mid January of approx 7k non stop ,however I recently cold a cold and cough that lasted for about 3 weeks. So I went for an attempt to run and couldn’t run for toffee . So I came back quite deflated and frustrated with myself . Any suggestions ????? . I feel like I’ve got to start from scratch again 😢.

I’m just starting my journey, week 6, but my husband has run for years. Your body is still in recovery, I’d just take it easy at first. I’m sure it could take you a few weeks to get back to form.

After a break you may need to build back up again to your former duration or distance.
