Just finished week 7. First time I haven't had calf pain where I have had to switch to landing on my heels. With the earlier runs I ran in silence but now I find audiobooks or radio documentaries really help stop me getting impatient for the end.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice that landing on your heels is the least desirable form of footstrike, as it causes more impact stresses.

Enjoy your journey.
